Dana's watching a news report: Fleming has a new police chief. And it's Marty! Dana calls Trip into the kitchen and tells him to eat something before the baseball game. He says he hates baseball and wants to quit. She won't let him. The end!

Vince mopes across the street from his old house. Dana and Trip don't live there anymore, so this is both maudlin and pointless. Goggles checks the previous occupants of the house, and comments offhand that the subject (Vince) is in excellent shape. His philosophy is, "What is the fun of killing someone before you've gotten to know them inside and out?" Hicks doesn't say anything to that. Goggles downloads Vince's information onto a doohickey and puts it into a cubbyhole labeled "The Cape" and comments that everyone's souls are together.

Vince watches Trip's Little League game from behind a tree. You know, they have stands you could be sitting in. Seeing Trip's last name on his jersey, Goggles puts together the information that their target is Vince Faraday, believed to be deceased. "It's time, Hicks. What are you thinking?" "Bumblebee." Okay, then.

Orwell makes excuses about her failed IP trace. She and Vince sit on a sunny park bench to eat some food-truck fare. She says that she's the only one who's good enough to make a self-replicating trap like that. Vince wants to know "who," "why," and also "to what end." Those last two are kind of similar. As he's blathering, Orwell spots a remote-controlled flying machine gun. They duck and the food truck blows up. You know, in the prologue, Hicks was so good that the guy in Afghanistan didn't even know he'd been shot until he keeled over. And now he's accidentally blowing up food trucks with a ridiculous RC helicopter?

Vince and Orwell run as the Bumblebee shoots at them. Vince is hit! But he and Orwell manage to get into a tunnel, which blocks the signal so that Hicks can't see what the Bumblebee's camera is pointing at. We see that the bullets were stopped by the cape, which you'll remember is made out of magical spider-silk. Vince and Orwell split up so they can see which of them is the target. It's Vince. Bang! Bang! Run! Run! Dead-end alley! Oh no!

Goggles tells Hicks to take his time, because Vince has nowhere to go. But Vince takes off his coat to reveal the cape. And Hicks wasn't ready for the Bumblebee to get Caped out of the air and smashed against a wall. Vince looks into the Bumblebee's camera and gives it a two-fingered "My eyes. Your eyes." move before punching it in the face. The camera goes out. Orwell comes in to help study the bumblebee. Goggles still has a bead on Vince as a result of the dart from earlier.
