Orwell sneaks back into the circus, where the aerialist lady is twirling around in the air. Max offers to let Orwell join up if she has any talents. She says she can hotwire a car or get through a firewall. Max tells her to stick around for the dress rehearsal.
In Max's trailer, he puts on his awesome brocade coat. Through a mirror, we see Gregor peeping through a window. But from the angle, you'd think Max could see Max perfectly clearly. That's weird.
The circus is introduced ... by Gregor the Great! Oh no! We've skipped the dress rehearsal entirely! He's got a tiger caged up and ready to attack Rollo, the aerialist, and Hypno Joe. And Max is chained up in a tank of water! Good heavens! Who will save these poor carnies? Suddenly! Just after Gregor asks, "Where is a hero when you need one?" Vince swings down and boots Gregor in the chest. Then he capes at the water tank and knocks it over, releasing Max. Orwell is making herself useful by unchaining the supporting cast.
Gregor grabs the cape off Vince's back. Fight scene! Gregor capes at Vince, and Vince grabs the corner before it cuts his head off. But Gregor still throws Vince against a cage. While Vince is recuperating, Gregor destroys a ceiling light, then flings Max around. But when he grabs Orwell and starts chatting her up, it's too much for Vince. He's up! And he punches Gregor in the face. After some posturing, Vince has the cape around Gregor's neck. He tells him something about how Gregor doesn't have anyone to fight for, and that's why he loses. Gregor is unconscious. Rollo immediately shouts, "Let's throw him in the river!" Right on. Show this guy some Carny Justice! But Vince claims not to be a murderer. And the local jail wouldn't hold him. So he and Orwell just leave. Vince tosses "Get rid of him." over his shoulder. So he doesn't want Gregor arrested or put in jail. What exactly does he think is going to happen here? If you ask me, the river is about to get an unexpected present.
Title Card: "ONE MAN. ONE FIGHT. ONE RIGHT." Cops are rounding up everyone in the train yard. Vince and Orwell are watching. Orwell says they're all being shipped out of the state. Vince takes a lot of pictures of one particular cop.
