Johnny calls Walt and gives him the partial license plate from the truck. Walt wants to know what this is about. Johnny lies that his vision wasn't very clear, and Walt doesn't buy it. Johnny asks Walt just to get him a name.

Purdy talks on the television about Isaac and Abraham and sacrifice. Johnny walks in and interrupts. Purdy excuses his crew. Johnny asks whether they've had any luck finding a heart. Purdy admits that an unofficial network of people exists, and that they keep an eye out for organ donors. It seems that a potential donor has already been found. Johnny thanks him and says that he's not trying to play God. Purdy says that Johnny already is playing God, because by finding a match for Jason, he's depriving someone else of a heart. Johnny's cell phone rings, and he suggests that they could help that second person too, but Purdy says that would affect another person and so on. Johnny says he thinks it's Walt on the phone, and takes the call. Turns out that it's Kate. She tells him that Jason collapsed and is at the hospital. Johnny promises that he'll be right there, and hangs up. He tells Purdy to call as soon as a heart is found.

Johnny arrives at the hospital, and Kate fills him in on Jason's collapse after lunch at the hotel. They join Bitchface Erin, who asks an exiting doctor if her husband is okay. The doctor wants to talk privately, but Erin says it's okay if Johnny and Kate hear it. The doctor says that Jason is currently stable, but that his heart is deteriorating and they can only keep it going for a short time, so she's moved Jason up to Status One on the transplant list. Johnny asks how much time they have, and the doctor says Jason needs a viable organ within twenty-four hours. Damn, that is a rapid deterioration, since the dude was dancing and drinking the night before. Erin starts sobbing, like she cares, and Kate comforts her. Johnny looks uncomfortable.
