At the police station, Bruce uses his one phone call to get in touch with Walt. Poor Walt. Johnny has just given a statement to his old buddy Sandowski. Christopher shows up and says that he came home to find the police there, and when he called his wife, she wouldn't speak to him. Christopher asks Johnny who he is. Johnny says, "I'm the guy who could have had the life you take for granted. Difference between us is I lost it all in one night, and you...you're just pissing yours away." Wait, why is he mad at Christopher? Because in the future, he will screw the world over? I don't know. Johnny tells Christopher that his wife hired a P.I. to prove his adultery. Sandowski explains about Ugly Robert. Johnny warns Christopher not to go back to his house, and that he should go stay with his family. Christopher offers to testify or press charges or do whatever it takes to put Johnny behind bars. Christopher leaves, and Johnny yells after him to stay away from his house. The captain asks to speak to Sandowski in his office.
Christopher goes to Madeleine's mom's house. Madeleine's mom answers the door and gives Christopher the stink-eye, before closing the door in his face. Heh. Madeleine opens the door and says she can't forgive him. Christopher says he just wants to talk. Julia shows up and is psyched to see her dad. Madeleine's mom refuses to let Christopher into her house.
Back at the police station, Sandowki is reluctantly releasing Johnny from custody, and making fun of all of Johnny's connections. Johnny mentions that they can't really charge him with breaking and entering when he didn't break anything before entering. Sandowski says he's sure he can find some charges for the family to press against Johnny. Some other cop hands Johnny his cane. Johnny sees Creepy Christopher. Bruce asks what's going on, and Johnny says that their intervention didn't change anything.
Ugly Robert hides inside the Wey house, waiting. Johnny tries to call the house from his car to...I don't know what he was planning to do there. Something. Christopher's car pulls into the Wey driveway. He tells Madeleine and Julia to wait in the car while he checks something. Christopher walks inside the house, disarms the alarm, and gets clocked with the fireplace poker by Ugly Robert. Julia gets out of the car and starts running for the front door, oblivious. She reaches the door, sees Ugly Robert dragging the body, and turns and runs out. She trips. She flies through the air with the greatest of ease. But this time, Johnny catches her before she hits the ground. Bruce jogs up the stairs and knocks out Ugly Robert. Johnny hands Julia to Madeleine and tells her to leave. Julia cries that her father is hurt. Madeleine runs into the house and cradles Christopher in her arms. Bruce calls 911.
