Johnny sits in his basement, in front of his Armageddon Preparedness Bulletin Board. He has added a new clipping about Christopher's coma. Creepy Christopher shows up. Johnny apologizes for not saving him, and Creepy Christopher says it was fate or something. Creepy Christopher wants to make a deal. He wants Johnny to look after his family and keep them safe. Johnny interrupts to say that he can't do that if they are all going to be nuked or whatever. Creepy Christopher says he can help Johnny stop Armageddon. Johnny wants proof that Creepy Christopher isn't lying. Creepy Christopher says he might not trust Johnny. Johnny points out that he saved Julia's life. Creepy Christopher says that he lied, and that he doesn't know what happened, because he was asleep. Johnny thinks Creepy Christopher can find out. Creepy Christopher says he can't trust anyone in the future. Johnny promises that Creepy Christopher can trust him. Creepy Christopher reaches into his coat and pulls out a crumpled piece of paper. He holds it up, and Johnny sees his own face on the cover of Newsweek with the headline, "Will This Man Destroy the World?" Creepy Christopher says, "I'm not sure." And disappears again. I'm not sure that one crumpled magazine cover that coincidentally features Johnny's big unblinking mug would survive Armageddon, but then again, I don't know why Creepy Christopher ended up in Maryland and why his coma provided Armageddon protection, so what do I know? I'm sure it will all be answered next season, if there is one.
Speaking of next season, while there has been no announcement from USA on the future of this show, we at TWoP have decided to discontinue the recaps regardless. We appreciate all of the readers and forum posters, but there just isn't enough interest from our site visitors to justify continuing the recaps. See you in Other TV Talk!
