Back to wherever Sean and Leila are. It's night. I wonder what they did all day. A maintenance worker takes trash out the back door of Willow Brook. Sean and Leila sneak around a dumpster and get through the door before it locks. And as soon as they're in, they start having a loud conversation. They go through a few doors at random and find themselves in the lobby. They sneak around, hiding from security guards and cleaners and reception. There's a guard coming, so Sean and Leila duck into an elevator. Luckily for them, he walks past, whistling a jaunty tune, without noticing that the elevator is dinging and the door is closing. The buttons on the elevator suggest that it only goes up, which makes Sean continue to doubt that there are girls in the basement. Leila says that everything has checked out so far, which obviously means that every clue is going to work forever. Of course, on a show like this, every clue does work forever.
Sean waves his stolen keycard across a pad, and all the buttons light up. The elevator starts to move down! It appears to go down at least five or six floors. When they get out, they're in another hallway (drink!) and have to use their keycard to get through a couple of gates. Sean smells something burning. They come to an examination room that appears to have been recently cleared out. Leila gets bored with that pretty quickly (which is fair, because it's just an empty room with a couple of chairs in it) and goes down the hallway shouting for Samantha. She finds some of those cells from earlier and quickly locates the one Samantha was in. Turns out she was carving "LEILA" on the wall. Leila sits on the bed. Sean leans against the wall. You guys need to get out of there. All that shouting could not have helped.
Sophia is on the phone with Simon, asking if he got anything off the banker's hard drive. The one he just got the last time we saw him? No, not yet. He appears to be walking past a bunch of federal agents while having this conversation, which strikes me as exceptionally sloppy. He tells her about the missile in Omala, and that the president knows that Thomas is behind it. He asks if she thinks Thomas is capable of shooting a missile at the US. As someone pointed out in the forums, Sophia just spent sixty years not talking to Thomas. You know who's probably closer to him? Simon! Anyway, Sophia doesn't know what Thomas is capable of.
