Seven days earlier, Sean and Vicki snorkel. That's a fun word to say. Snorkel, snorkel, snorkel. There are colorful fish. That's enough of that. On the speedboat back to the cruise ship, Vicki and Sean look at the pictures he took underwater. Leila didn't come because she's either sick or had too much to drink. You don't think she got some of that Unidentified Influenza, do you? And Vicki's boyfriend Dude, of course, has that cast. So he went on an excursion in the jungle. Vicki flirts all over Sean and makes him take a picture of the two of them.

Back on board, Sean goes to room 5314. But his keycard won't work. And Leila's not answering the door. So he goes down to the front desk, but they have no record of him. And room 5314 is assigned to James B. and Marla Olsen. How peculiar. Sean does not handle this very well, just insisting over and over that he didn't get the room number wrong. He complains until an uninterested security guard accompanies him to the room. And this time, knocking prompts someone to answer. It's some guy! And his wife! Sean looks for Leila, and she's not there. Sean freaks out while the guard pushes him out of the room. This would be a good time for him to remember the ring he put in the safe.

The front desk guy (not a concierge; the one you check in with) tells Sean that there's no record of him or Leila. The guard asks to see Sean's passport, which he says is up in his room. He tries calling Leila's cell phone, but the number is not in service. He tries the Buchanans' number, but Samantha's voice on the answering machine is no help. We see Mrs. Buchanan's hand in a pool of blood. And there are four messages on the machine, if that turns out to matter.

The security guard starts to walk Sean to the security office, but he turns and runs for it. Where's he going? They're on a ship outside Antigua; it's not like he can just run around the corner.

Back to the plane, which has just jumped suddenly. Sean grabs the phone and shouts "Mike" and "Please" a lot. Down at the President's Retreat, a lot of wind picks up and things start bouncing around. We see Martinez get bundled into his car. Sean tells Mike, "Whatever they promised you, you can't trust them. Okay, you and I together, we'll come up with something. We'll find her! Please! Listen. I love Leila too. But think about what you're doing. She would never want you to do this!"
