Claire is sitting at a restaurant, Turner and another agent a few tables away. Her friend comes over to meet her. They make crisis-time small talk.
Ryan and Lopez approach the Sullivans' house. They knock and no one answers. Ryan goes around to check the back. The door is open. They walk into the kitchen, calling for Clark and Nora. The phone is off the hook and the TV is on. They find the Sullivans in their chairs, throats cut. Lopez mutters a queasy "Oh my god" and Ryan tells him to call it in. The blood is fresh and still dripping, so Ryan mutters, "They were just here." He tells Lopez to follow him and goes back outside. He runs down the path and finds a piece of bloody cloth. He asks how close the next farm is. Lopez says half a mile. They start running through the woods and find the house--white with black shutters.
Lopez calls in their location as Ryan spots Paul and Jacob. He calls Mike and Ava and tells them where they are and asks for backup.
Jacob asks Emma whose car is outside. Emma introduces Hank, who says they have ten minutes to pack. Emma says she'll get Joey after they're packed.
An agent tells Parker they found the farmhouse. She's calling in every agency with letters.
Claire and her friend finish their lunch. Claire asks her friend to order her an espresso, then excuses herself to go to the ladies' room. Turner tells the other agent that he'll follow her. Claire turns a corner, pushes open the restroom door, then ducks out the back door before slow-moving Turner catches up with her. He's smart enough to stick his head out the back door, but he doesn't see Claire hiding behind a car. She takes off. Turner goes into the ladies' room, finds it empty, and goes back outside, looking peevish.
Ryan tells Lopez he's going to go around the back of the house. Lopez says he'll check the barn.
Hank calls Eyebrows, asking him if he has Claire. Eyebrows says she's late. In the car's side mirror, Hank sees Lopez moving through the woods. He unzips a bag that's in the open back of the SUV. Nice knowing you, Lopez.
Lopez is in the barn. He whispers, "Mr. Hardy?" Hank comes around a corner. Lopez nervously draws his gun and Hank asks if something's wrong. He walks toward Lopez, hands half-up, talking about how the gun is making him nervous, then manages to wrestle with Lopez for the gun and shoot him in the gut. Ryan comes into the barn and doesn't hesitate; he shoots Hank dead. Man, the filing cabinet at FBI headquarters labeled "Extralegal Shit Ryan Hardy Does" must be overflowing by now.
