In a wooded spot outside the fair, Charlie and Andie meet. They are awkwardly cute with each other and hold hands. Brett watches from a distance. His eyes turn yellow. Andie and Charlie hear growling. We are spared a cheesy morphing effect and instead see a fully formed, real wolf standing in Brett's place. He starts towards the new lovebirds, but buddy Lukas leaps out of the bushes and tackles him to the ground. "Not now," Lukas says. "Not like this." He's straddling a now-human, now-naked Brett. My goodness.

Later, Nick is in bed when he gets a call. The next thing we see, he's meeting his fellow officers in the woods. A vehicle and body have been found. He pulls back the blanket covering the corpse, but it's not the missing contractor. Marcus recognizes the dead man, though: "That's Phelps. It's our old Chief." Retirement plans just ain't what they used to be. Stay tuned next week to find out what happens.
