Judge: "Yeah, I know."
L/G: "So I guess we'll get the partners together and they'll throw their usual riot and... Oh, crap. New client guy. Well, just because we're flipping out and he's deeply unsavory doesn't mean we can't use the business."
L/G: "Cary and Alicia, please go talk to the British creep in there and see what he wants. Besides to choke Kalinda in bed."
Nick: "I own a towtruck company, among various unsavory dangerous businesses, and -- hey, why aren't the partners the ones talking to me? I've very important. I have a British accent, for God's sake."
Alicia: "Don't worry about it, you."
Nick: "Um, okay. So I am trying to get my trucks running in Chicago -- I'm stalking a person to sex-murder her, you see -- and the city won't let me bid on this RFP..."
Alicia: "How come?"
Nick: "I am a serial killer and gun-runner and sex-murderer. Don't worry about it."
Alicia: "I would caution you not to tell us those things."
Nick: "Exactly. Anyway..."
(Eli knocks on the window, K-Chen in tow.)
Alicia: "Ugh. Anyway, you were saying?"
Nick: "So I need you to vet me a partner for the bid. They'll be like middlemen. You know, corruption running rampant, lying to officials, et cetera."
Cary, chasing her down: "Alicia? Alicia, um, how is any of this legal?"
Alicia: "Grow up, Agos. We'll protect the firm by ignoring our total creep vibes."
Cary: "Is this because the firm is going down in a fiery explosion?"
Alicia: "Sweetie, that's literally the only reason I'm being this shady."
Cary: "Sorry, I'm still thinking like an SA. Funny how my ethics were actually strengthened working with your totally corrupt husband, and now you're the one leading me off the primrose path."
Alicia: "Don't let the name of the show fool you, as CBS would say. Listen, between Kresteva and now this stupid cop, I'm pretty much a nihilist right now."
PEGGY V ALICIA
Q: "And how long have you and your husband been separated?"
A: "About a year."
Q: "So you were separated, when you stood beside him for his gubernatorial announcement?"
Q: "And you didn't find this hypocritical?"
