Previously, Heidi got fake-wasted at her fake-job and got fake-fired. Whitney met a dude when she went to New York. I'm sick of adding all the "fake" prefixes, so just add them in your mind.

Whitney and Lauren are at work when the producers remember that they have to set up their spin-off, so they have Kelly Crow-trone call in and say that she needs Whitney and Lauren in New York to help run some fashion shows. Whitney confesses that Alex, the dude she met previously, has called her a few times and they've been texting, so she's excited to see him again! OMG!

People's Revolution, New York. Kelly praises the group for remembering to wear all black. The most awesome part is when Kelly starts talking and some poor woman is on the phone and Kelly totally stops her speech to tell the girl to hang up and then keeps haranguing her until she does. That reminds me of when my students are instant messaging on the computers while I'm teaching class, which is my biggest pet peeve. I have a secret desire to somehow find out their IM names and IM them while class is going on (somehow -- I haven't worked that part out yet) and say, "Hi, this is your teacher. Please at least pretend like you're paying attention. Your grade will thank you." Got to work the kinks out on that plan. Anyway, Kelly is my hero. She tells everyone that these fashion shows are total chaos and that if someone comes up and claims to be important, they need to avoid rolling their eyes and contact someone senior to verify. It's a little sad that they need to be reminded of that. Lauren and Whitney show up and immediately get yelled at for not wearing all black. I think Kelly has an OCD problem. She gives them their marching orders and tells Whitney that Alex is going to be in one of the shows, and Lauren will be seeing him in his underwear. Whitney giggles and says it doesn't bother her. Lauren says she's fine with it, too, and they all laugh. Kelly laughed!

Whitney and Lauren arrive at Buckler, home of one of the designers. A bunch of male models are inside, having fittings. Andrew Buckley, the designer, gives them some instructions. Whitney helps someone named Adam get dressed, and makes small talk with him. The designer looks a little annoyed with them. Alex is up next. I don't know where he was hiding during all this, but he and Whitney greet each other like long-lost friends. They help him get dressed, and then Whitney introduces Alex to Lauren. He seems like kind of a dud. I'm not seeing much personality there. Lauren and Whitney gossip about how cute the male models are.
