NYC. Whitney is out for drinks with the crew, and Alex the model shows up. He and Whitney retreat to a cozy corner for a chat, and joke about how obnoxious Kelly was at the casting. Speak of the devil, because Kelly calls to tell Whitney that no one else from work will be joining them. Oh, that's not obvious, or embarrassing. Whitney smoothly changes the subject to talk about USC, and Alex talks about his experiences being new to New York and not knowing anyone, which is exactly what Whitney is feeling right now! OMG!

Lauren visits Stephanie in her apartment. Lauren plops down on the couch and Stephanie says that she's sitting where Spencer lived for a few months. Lauren fakes being disgusted, and then launches into talking about Doug and how she's totally not into him. Nice of her to talk about it with everyone but Doug, huh? Stephanie then claims that she's lonely and so she talks to the hamster a lot. I totally thought that was a euphemism for masturbation. It still might be. Because then Lauren asks if it's a hamster or a guinea pig, and demonstrates how a hamster is smaller. Stephanie claims her pet used to be a hamster, but now it's a guinea pig. Lauren looks confused, and then, hilariously, so does Stephanie. That was a weird scene. And yet, kind of awesome.

NYC. Whitney and Alex stroll down the street and talk about how she's scared to move to New York, and she would miss her family and friends. Alex claims that she would love the diversity of the city, and the fashion culture. Whitney doesn't think she could handle the rain in the summer. How about the snow in the winter? They arrive at Whitney's hotel and hug goodbye. You can tell Alex is like, "So did I get the booking or what?"
