JB and KC meet up for dinner or drinks or their total weirdness or whatever, and he looks of course like a million dollars and his sleeves are cut off, over a Henley, while KC looks like a million dollars and her sleeves are cut off. He mentions this as he's sitting down, and she acknowledges it, the similarity there with the sleeves, and tries to move on, but no: Justin is just tickled by the sleevelessness of it all. So for a second time -- like when you nod at a boy in a bar because you can't hear him talking -- she acknowledges that yes, we are both wearing shirts with the sleeves cut off. And he's like, "That's just... We're both wearing shirts with the sleeves cut off." And then something snaps behind Kristin's eyes, and she changes the subject to Audrina, just like that: We're done with sleeves now, Justin Bobby.
So yeah, Justin explains, he stands by his promise to be cool whether they said "Peace" and kicked rocks and were acquaintances, or were cool with each other. He still feels this way. Although the boat thing is weird, and also the Ryan thing is weird. Kristin's like, "Well, I wouldn't be inviting you if you weren't coming, and also things are not going well with Ryan Cabrera, for reasons unknown but locked deep in the porcelain kitty-cat that sits in Audrina's rib cage where a heart would go, if she were real."
Justin cracks Kristin up immediately: "Aw, that's too bad! I wanted to get to know the ... Little guy." And then he looks right at the camera, which is to say right at me, for approximately thirty seconds without blinking, and there's a story in those eyes. It is long and it is short, and perhaps you read it too. But basically, it says something along the lines of, "Everything you ever thought about me, Jacob, is completely true. Thank you for your years of service defending my honor. I will be there soon, to rescue you from your humdrum life, on my motorcycle. I smell like cigarettes and sweat and motor oil, and I am on my way. Hold on for me just a little bit longer if you can, for O the rocks we shall kick."
