That night, Brody and Kristin are at the latest hot new club, and I can't be bothered to name it. I miss the good old days of Les Deux and Lola's. Back when I gave a shit. But back to the action at hand -- Brody and Kristin pass the go-go dancers and bottle service carafes to get to their booth, where Brody's friend and BS are sitting. Brody's friend notes that it's weird to see Brody and Kristin together again. She smiles coyly and says they're having fun -- a rather pointed reference to the wet blanket herself: Jayde.

Brody leans in to tell Kristin he's glad they're "doing this." She asks what exactly they're doing. He plays it cool and says they're hanging out. He asks if she sees a future in this. She retorts, "Do you see a future with Jayde?" He hems and haws. She says she doesn't want to get hurt. He basically tells her to back up the bus because they have a lot to catch up on. Translation: I just want some ass, and you're a comforting reminder of my youth. She resigns herself to his terms for the moment.

Outside Jayde and her Bunny Brigade make their way inside. Once in, she sees Brody cuddling up to Kristin -- the exact closeness she took enough issue with to break off their relationship in the first place. She walks right by Brody and Kristin, staring daggers into both of them. Brody's eyes double in size at the sight of her, and he backs off of Kristin considerably. He tries to act all cool, like he's doing nothing wrong, but that immediate reaction was telling. While Kristin tries to convince him they're not doing anything wrong, Jayde's friend agitates for her to head back over and tell Brody off.
