Previously: Spencer and Brody broke up because Brody was friends with Lauren. Or were they more than friends? Whitney had to find a location for a Teen Vogue Young Hollywood party.
Whitney leads Lisa Love into an old church, a potential location for the party. Lisa is impressed. Whitney suggests photo booths in the confessionals, and points out where she would put the stage and the runway. One of the assistants says he'll put together some drawings for Amy Astley, the New York Teen Vogue editor. Lisa praises Whitney for finding the location! I (sort of) understand why the other idiots are on this show, but why is Lisa Love? I guess she does it to promote the magazine.
Teen Vogue Offices. Lisa Love, whose hair grew like a foot from the last scene, calls Whitney and Lauren into her office to explain that they will be flying to NYC to explain the event to Amy Astley. Lauren just sits there and looks kind of pouty while Whitney appears competent and efficient.
Back in their closet, the girls celebrate getting to go to New York. Whitney didn't want to do the presentation alone. They discuss what they will wear. Lauren reveals that she has "a dress on reserve" for the meeting. She is way too excited about the fact that she has a spare dress, like Lauren probably doesn't have twenty dresses just hanging in her closet, waiting to be worn. And many of them were probably given to her for free.
Bolthouse. Spencer parallel parks out front, and then he meets Frankie, who's exiting the building. They make awkward small talk. Frankie The Instigator asks why Spencer isn't returning his and Brody's calls. Spencer reiterates his problem with Brody hanging out with Lauren. Frankie thinks that Spencer needs to get over it if he ever wants to be friends with Brody again, but Spencer says he's only moving forward. Forward into oblivion, hopefully.
Heidi comes out to meet Spencer for lunch. Spencer explains what happened, and of course, he totally changes the actual conversation so that he looks good and Frankie sounds like a jerk. Heidi is wearing nine-inch heels. Spencer claims that he's more loyal than Brody could ever be. Whatever. I only enjoy scenes where Spencer is getting yelled at or showing how cuckoo crazypants he really is.
