In New York, Janice and the boys hit the town. They walk through Times Square, and Janice randomly walks down the street saying, "What's shaking?" T.J. tells us that Janice was just being Janice, and that it was really cool to "see her on the streets." Too bad she's not wearing the red dress that Nathan so despised. They could pick up some additional revenue for the agency. Janice signs autographs and poses with some people, and John tells us that "paparazzi" came "out of nowhere." Suddenly, also "out of nowhere," Ethan the recruitment director pops up to say that a department store called Rothmans wants to hire the models RIGHT NOW. You don't say! They guys go to the store where they meet Ken Giddon, the owner of Rothmans, who wants some free publicity. T.J. is still excited to be in New York City, and is amazed that this job just popped up out of nowhere. "Only Janice can cook something like that up," says T.J. I see why T.J. hasn't yet made his mark in the acting world. The boys pose in Rothman's window. They then pose out on the street. It's fascinating television. More commercials.
When we return, it's close to show time. Janice sends the models to the gallery early so they can get ready for the show. She hopes that the models have the "confidence, dignity, and performance" that will enable them to get contracts, magazine ads, and billboards. The boys walk into the party in their underwear, and all eyes are upon them. T.J. says that he was nervous, but soon enough he's telling Jason that they're dying to get naked. Thus, they take off their tops and we cut to a shot of some lovely boys with mouths agape. I then go to the 2(x)ist website, and discover that 2(x)ist is the official sponsor of National Underwear Day. August 9, 2006, folks. Mark your calendars and MapQuest directions to your local art gallery. The boys mingle and let strangers paw at them. John tells us in his creepy way that people can touch him all they want. He is, after all, already touching himself aplenty with this new product. He says that his ass is his best asset. Well, his face sure isn't.
And then, Janice shows up. LATE!!!! Can you believe it? I am totally scandalized. Janice says that she was late due to traffic, but when she saw the models working the show, she knew she had arrived. She tells the boys to get up on the food table, which doesn't seem all that hygienic to me, and then calls for everybody's attention. She says, "Ladies and gentlemen, I present you 2(x)ist." She interviews that having the boys standing on the table was the only way to show off "the package" and to present the boys as "the Greek Gods that they are." Jason looks nervous, but Janice doesn't do anything too embarrassing. T.J. says that it was a nice moment for them. The boys and Janice have some photos taken, and all the models are happy for the opportunity to travel and model.
