LARSEN

Stan: "It is such a bummer that my little Belko went nuts and shot everybody. I am worried about him and his mental health. Perhaps I am late to the train on that one."
Holder: "Sorry about your fucked-up horrible family of waifs and strays and bummers. Oh, also your daughter was a prostitute, okay? I have to go."

HOSPITAL

Gwen: "I really gotta put like a light sweater on over this gory mess I call a shirt."

Medical Personnel: "He's bleeding internally in his abdomen. Most of his blood of his entire body is soaked through Gwen's clothes."
Jamie & Gwen: "But so that means he'll be fine, right?"
Medical Personnel: "Um... You should probably get his sister Elyse to fly down."
Jamie & Gwen: "You mean like for the big party celebrating how he is fine?"

SHERRIFF DEPT

Linden: "I am gonna need some gum for this one."

First Deputy: "Yeah, those cameras have been down since August, so there wouldn't be any October footage." The Whole Place: (Buzzes like a fridge; the Sherriff Himself -- I think -- comes out after getting yelled at on the phone.)
Sherriff: "That guy doesn't know what he's talking about, sorry. There were totally cameras working, which is how we know that Richmond was on the bridge at that time. Sorry about totally indicating that this is a conspiracy."
Linden: "Uh, this is totally a coverup of a conspiracy that got a widower arrested and possibly murdered."
Sherriff: "Look, Detective Sarah Linden of Homicide, don't make me call your lieutenant."
Linden: "Yeah, I totally didn't tell you any of those infos. So who are you taking orders from?"

He just makes her same face back at her, which would be really unnerving I think, and so she runs straight to Oakes's house, grabs the kid, it's only just about sunrise on DAY FOURTEEN and she's back on the run, even as the phone in Oakes's house is already ringing because of the bullshit she's set in motion. Oakes watches her leave, because as usual he's protecting her but also can't take the actual steps necessary to do anything about any of this. Boy, I hope he doesn't get fired and replaced with somebody who is actually anti Sarah Linden and her ten metric tons of hot mess she brings to each situation.
