Fineman talks to Ariel about the Rebecca McCandless case. Ariel confirms that a woman is suing Rebecca for sexual harassment. Fineman is stunned. Ariel pokes her finger over Fineman's head and says she's "popping [his] naughty little thought bubble." So we're supposed to think these are jaded big-city lawyer types, and yet they can't wrap their minds around two women together? Whatever. Fineman says that "Leno and Letterman are going to make a meal of it." Ariel says that if the accusations are true, Rebecca deserves it. Fineman reminds her that her job is to make sure that doesn't happen. Fineman says that he's okay with sexual harassment when it comes to Ariel. Ha ha! Sexual harassment is funny. Ariel giggles and says she has a shuttle to catch as Fineman yells out that he'll sign a waiver.
Brit walks into Grant's office just as he finishes instructing some random lawyer on how to handle the oil case. Brit says she thought Ariel was working on the case, and Grant says she's working with Jack on a sexual-harassment case. Brit asks if Grant is worried that Ariel might get ideas. Grant says that the closer Ariel gets to Jack, the better her access to information will be. Brit says that Jack and Ariel will probably be working long hours alone late at night, and that "it'd be great if they end up horizontal." Grant, disgusted, says he's trying to work. Brit asks if she pushed a button. Grant asks when Brit's paralegal project, Charlie, is going to pay dividends, and advises Brit to push Charlie now, so Grant can work. Brit gives him a look like, "Girl, I own you," and sashays out.
Jack and Ariel arrive in New York. As they walk into Rebecca McCandless's offices, Jack says that Rebecca is well respected in the design community, but also admits that he's never seen her, or even a photo of her. Ariel is amused. They walk into Rebecca's office. Hey! Rebecca is Sue-Ellen Mishkie! Except this time she's wearing a bra. The actress, Brenda Strong, also played one of Charlie's girlfriends on Party of Five. Is Paula Devicq going to show up next?
