Kathy says she wants to go on record as saying that they should have taken the guaranteed money. They decide to go for it, despite Kathy's objections. Frederique is kind of with Kathy, though. Ahmad asks for a final decision, and Erik says he wants to go for it. Corbin is still hung up on the Hawaii connection. Erik tells Ahmad to open the coffin, and Kathy is staring at Erik like she wants to kill him. Ahmad opens the coffin; there are only bones inside, of course. Erik even walks over to look and make sure. Kathy screams at Erik, "What is the matter with you?" and he runs away. In an interview, Kathy says that Erik saw there were only bones in there, and she wanted to kill him. Kathy yells at the other contestants, "The expression 'money in the bank' means money in the bank!" In an interview, Frederique says that the gravediggers were suspicious. Ahmad says that the money is in Kevin Spacey's coffin, and shows them. Ahmad announces that the pot remains at $67,000. In an interview, Erik says that he's been working with Kathy, and that it's a hidden coalition. In an interview, Kathy says that she took a second and thought that she must be in a coalition with The Mole. Kathy looks at the camera and says, "You all saw it." Erik looks at the camera and shrugs. Hmm. That whole thing was interesting. I don't think Erik is smart enough to pretend to be The Mole, but it's possible that Kathy told him to pretend in order to throw the other players off track. Or he could be The Mole.
The contestants arrive for dinner. Ahmad reviews what happened in the last game, and says he's sad that they didn't get any money, so he's going to give him a chance to win it now. He reminds them that there hasn't been an exemption offered yet. Ahmad says that he's going to give them an exemption to give out, but that they have to arrive at it by unanimous vote. If they can decide, they will also get $25,000 for the pot. But, if they don't decide, Ahmad will take $25,000 out of the pot. Ahmad gives them thirty minutes to decide. Corbin asks if they're allowed to discuss it. No, you just have to psychically connect and make a decision. Shut up, Corbin.
In an interview, Kathy says, "The dinner from hell began, and it was sooooo awesome." Stephen asks Kathy whom she wants to see get the exemption. Kathy says she wants it for herself. Erik says that he wants Kathy. Yeah, she's controlling him. I'm going with my theory that she instructed him on how to act like The Mole. Frederique votes for herself, as does Michael. Corbin says he wants Erik. In an interview, Kathy says now she's upset, because she had two votes, but now it's looking like it might go Erik's way. Stephen reviews the votes but doesn't reveal whom he wants to get the exemption. Michael asks Corbin why he chose Erik. Corbin says he wants someone who is difficult to figure out to get eliminated. In other words, Erik is simple. Stephen says, "Very calculating. Very sinister. Sick. I like it. I vote for Erik." Okay, he cracked me up with that one. Michael is with them, and so is Kathy. Frederique asks why they are voting for Erik, and sticks with voting for herself.
