Nick yells out, "I'm a cop!" and holds up his badge. One of the SWAT guys sees blood on Nick and asks where he was hit. Nick, who is handcuffed to a pole or something, says that it's not his blood, and that a woman was shot and needs to be taken out. The SWAT team rushes over to where Jeremy is trying to keep Eva alive; she appears to have been shot in the throat or upper chest. Franny sits nearby, wailing. The SWAT guy pulls Jeremy off, and he protests that he's a doctor. Nick yells that the key to his cuffs is "on the psycho [they] shot." Little Robber, the psycho in question, is still alive. As a SWAT guy searches Little Robber's pocket for the key, he finds a hank of long hair. His reaction, like mine, is, "What the hell?" A SWAT guy opens a metal door of some sort, and finds Kathryn cowering inside, wearing only a slip.

The SWAT guys lead the hostages out of the bank, where the assembled crowd cheers for them. We see that Kathryn is the one missing a hank of hair. Lizzie looks at the crowds and faints. Kathryn runs over to attend to her. Meanwhile, Jeremy and Franny run next to the paramedics and Eva on a gurney. Jeremy says that he's been treating Eva for the last hour and a half, so he needs to go in the ambulance with her. Franny keeps yelling that Eva is allergic to penicillin.

Back inside, Nick wonders if they have the keys to his handcuffs yet. Meanwhile, the SWAT team has descended upon Malcolm, who is standing, frozen, in front of a desk, not even reacting to the fact that there are, like, seven automatic weapons pointed at him. Nick yells out that Malcolm is the bank manager, and that he's okay. Nick reaches behind Malcolm and pulls out a sobbing Felicia, who keeps asking what is happening. Nick tells the SWAT guys to get Felicia out, and to keep her with Malcolm, her father. Malcolm appears catatonic, and it's totally creepy. Nick tries to get through to Malcolm, explaining that he did well and that it's over, so he can let go. Malcolm finally walks out and rejoins his daughter.
