Right Back Where We Started From

The End's Not Near, It's Here - The series ends with a bunch of brand new plotlines that are just like the old plotlines. Ryan and Taylor break up because they're too different. Julie has to choose between Frank and BULLIT. Seth and Summer aren't sure if they're supposed to be together forever. The Cohen house is condemned, so everyone runs off to the old house in Berkeley and convinces its current inhabitants to give it to them. Basically, instead of moving forward, we go backwards. Over and over again.

Oliver succeeds neither in keeping Marissa nor in killing himself, and is ultimately led off to a hospital after Ryan talks the gun out of his hand.
