Satori says she thinks Marian won't join them, but Dr. Mark, approaching with to-go coffees, says that she will. Mark hands out the paper coffee cups, which are obviously empty, and none of the Others even attempts to act like they're not. Which offends me, since "acting" is their job and I can't think of any excuse for being too lazy to act like a beverage cup actually has a beverage in it. Elmer grabs the top off of his cup, and Satori makes jealous noises at Dr. Mark about Marian as she swings her cup around willy-nilly. I'm not much of one for noticing acting, but this truly was egregious. Considering the special-effects budget on this show, I think someone could have sprung for a little water to put in the coffee cups. Anyway, Dr. Mark has Warren's double espresso and wonders aloud where Warren is. Satori and Miles gesture across the lobby to where Warren is dancing with a bunch of hare krishnas and playing a big bongo drum. Weren't hare krishnas in airports a popular joke in, oh I don't know, 1977? Who's even seen a freakin' hare krishna in an airport since 1981? I sure haven't. In most airports they wouldn't even be allowed past the x-ray machines without a ticket. Even Warren, who is usually the only amusing part of this show, handles his coffee cup like it's empty, slinging it up to his mouth and gulping. I'm so disappointed. Suddenly Elmer yells -- he's spilled his non-existent coffee all over his lap and bitches about how the "darn joe" is too hot. Miles badgers Elmer to see if he's having a premonition, but Elmer just launches into a little rant about the little jackets they put on the cups. Dr. Mark notices that Elmer's hands are shaking, and Elmer admits that he has a fear of flying. Mark tries to reassure him, but Elmer shows him some liquor miniatures and says he intends to drink heavily. The PA system announces boarding for Spartan Flight 602 to Detroit and on to Phoenix, and the Others get ready to board. Satori is in a big rush because the flight is "open seating," but Mark says he's going to wait for Marian because he has her ticket. Satori makes a face like she just sucked a lemon soaked in vinegar and stomps off.
