Marian and Satori pull up in front of Mrs. Muñoz's house. Satori, in her Annie Potts squeaky/nasal voice, says Mrs. Muñoz is not home and that she and Marian should check the place out and "try to catch a vibe." Marian gives her a "whatever" look, as do I. They walk towards the house and Satori tells Marian about the "energy" she felt from the upstairs room. Marian worries that Mrs. Muñoz will catch her, and Satori tells her to think of some explanation for being around the house, like saying she's a meter reader. Marian points out that in that case she should have a clipboard and uniform, and I like her just a tiny bit more for pointing out that Satori is a moron. She takes a deep breath and walks towards the house, and I notice that she's still wearing the shrunken jersey and fugly high-waisted flares that she was wearing in the previous scene. Julianne Nicholson is a slim girl, but those jeans do nothing to flatter her form. As Marian lurks in the bushes outside the house, Mrs. Muñoz pulls open the curtains and demands to know what she's doing. Marian stutters her way through a story about the house being the one she grew up in and wanting a chance to look around inside. Satori creeps around nearby and gives Marian the thumbs-up. Once inside, Marian makes up some stories about how the house has changed and admires a photo of a boy who Mrs. Muñoz explains is her son Adrian. Marian then asks to go upstairs and claims that Adrian's room was her former bedroom. Mrs. Muñoz asks her not to touch anything and Marian goes right into the room and touches a Lego sculpture. I guess because she's trying to help Mrs. Muñoz she doesn't have to respect her wishes or her personal property. She sees the handprint on the window and places her hand up against it; tinkly music plays, and through the window, instead of trees, Marian suddenly sees a ship, the word "END," and then Adrian staring at her. Marian starts when she sees Adrian and thrusts her hand through the window. The noise brings Mrs. Muñoz running, and when she looks out the window she sees Satori standing on the front lawn. She starts yelling at Marian, who is holding her bloody arms out in front of her. Cut to Marian slamming out the front door, blood all over her arm, and demanding to know why Satori made her come there. Mrs. Muñoz stares out through the broken window. I hope Marian offered to pay for that.
