At the hospital Dr. Mark bandages Marian's arm and lamely flirts with her. He says she shouldn't have let Elmer drag her into this, and she simpers that she has a gift and should use it. Is it just me or do Marian's feelings towards her powers seem a tad, I don't know, inconsistent? Dr. Mark holds her hurt arm while gazing at her and says he just doesn't want to see her getting hurt. They're still staring into each other's eyes when Satori bursts into the room, addressing Marian. She sees the flirty tableau and makes a very big show of her embarrassment at catching them doing the dirty deed, oops, I mean looking at each other. Oh, big deal, you catty little bitch. Marian asks Satori what she was going to say, and Satori says that perhaps the word END in Marian's vision referred to the moment Adrian died. Dr. Mark hustles off and Marian inquires into the relationship between him and Satori. Satori tells her things aren't going well between her and Dr. Mark and that he obviously likes Marian. Marian titters, "Likes? Or likes likes?" and decides to ask Dr. Mark to the Girl's Choice dance that weekend. Oh, I can't wait to see her dress! I'm sure she'll look just as pretty as April Tuna. Heh. Just kidding with that stuff, dear reader. Instead, Marian just makes with the modesty, and Satori says that Dr. Mark definitely likes her because he told Marian his dead dog story and because Marian is a Cancer. I'm a Cancer too, but I sure hope Dr. Mark doesn't like me. If he starts telling me his dead dog story, I'm just going to say, "Hate you, hate you , wouldn't want to date you," and run away. ["I think you’re safe, Ace -- his taste seems to run towards the less intelligent." -- Sars] Satori says that Mark is "hard to get close to" and that he would often be very distant, which was her repetition, not mine. For someone who’s been throwing catty remarks for an episode and a half, Satori has all of a sudden gotten all buddy-buddy with Marian. Satori continues that she feels Dr. Mark's empathic abilities took the mystery out of the romance, but Marian looks doubtful and gets in a little jibe about honesty. Satori tells her that "strange things would happen when we got close," and we all know what that means. It seems like gross thing for Satori to start discussing after being so insistent that Dr. Mark likes Marian. Apparently when Satori and Dr. Mark were in bed together, the power went out, a clock exploded, and the room filled with birds. Marian looks really freaked out by this, perhaps imagining her beautiful lovemaking with Dr. Mark ruined by bird shit, and when she looks down at her bandaged arm, blood has seeped through to form the Circular Symbol of Impending Evilness. Good god, we get it, folks! How many more times are you going to slap us in the face with that stupid symbol? It had better play a role in more episodes this season, or I'm going to be one very pissed and over-foreshadowed viewer.
Marian, wearing a tomato-red short sleeved sweater, ugly plaid mini, black tights, and elf boots (whoa, early-eighties flashback!) exits a campus building. She pauses to meet Warren and asks why he was in both her 8 AM and 10 AM classes. Warren doesn't answer but instead starts repeating, "AM, AM." He then says he won't go to her classes if she doesn't want him to, and she lies and says she doesn't mind. Warren then links "AM" to Adrian Muñoz and says he's been thinking about the boy too. Marian is surprised that Warren knew what she was thinking about, and he tells her that the signs informed him. Warren asks Marian some questions about Adrian and starts in on his seer act. He tries to make connections between the color of Adrian's room and the family's last name and ends up yelping, "Green Moon!" Next we see them exiting the Green Moon café and Warren is thanking Marian for buying him coffee. He says, "The signs are everywhere," and tells her to look around. They see a product-placed shiny new Toyota; Warren adds up numbers on the license plate, uses the word "toy" from Toyota, and basically leads them on a wild goose chase. They end up back where they started and Warren, carrying a big bag of toys, apologizes for the failure of his technique to produce a result. He says that perhaps Marian wasn't crazy enough for it to work, and she doesn't deny it. They're both standing in front of a bus stop plastered with an ad, and Warren notes that the people on it look happy. Marian stares in shock because the name of the company, "Endroco," contains the word END in the same type-face as she saw in her vision at the Muñoz's house. She's very excited because now she knows she was seeing through Adrian's eyes and that he's alive. She hugs and thanks Warren, who looks perplexed.
A car drives along between warehouses located on a dock. Dr. Mark and Adrian get out of the car and he asks her what Endroco is. She explains it's a Dutch company and this shipping warehouse is their only local address. Marian, wearing an ugly combination of white pants with a cream-colored fleece vest over an orange hoodie, thanks Dr. Mark for helping her out and worries that perhaps they should have invited the other Others. "Why?" he leers, "Are you uncomfortable being alone with me?" What is his problem? This girl’s about eight years younger than him and as skittish as hell. He should leave her alone. Marian rings the bell on the Endroco building but there's no answer. She then points at a warehouse nearby and says that if Adrian were inside looking out the window, he would see what she saw in her vision. Dr. Mark and Marian have apparently not seen enough horror or supernatural movies, because they decide to enter the deserted warehouse by themselves. As they look around, a bearded man appears behind them and tells them the building is condemned. The man, who is wearing a black watch cap and raggedy sweater, creepily smiles and waves goodbye to them as they leave. Outside, Marian and Mark see Mark's car, but the huge Endroco sign is gone. Dr. Mark gets his bitch on and rags on Marian for dragging him out to this crappy neighborhood. Apparently he's very worried about his status-mobile getting ripped off. She's confused by his attitude change, but he tells her he doesn't feel well and gets into the car. She then has a Mulder-esque intuitive leap and demands that he look up at the window of the building they just left. She thinks Adrian is behind it, and when Dr. Mark says he can't look, she says she can't either and that some sort of "force" is manipulating their minds. Mark gets a migraine and a nosebleed and leans back in the car seat. Marian notices that the Endroco sign has returned and runs towards the warehouse, where she sees Adrian at the window. She turns around to call to Mark, but the creepy guy from the warehouse grabs her from behind and covers her mouth with his hand. He whispers in her ear that he likes her. The camera closes in on the Symbol of Impending Evilness drawn on his hand in Magic Marker. Oh, I'm scared now. Not.
