Hallway just outside the courtroom. Eugene is very frustrated. It's like these two are playing a cheap childhood game. One brother assumes the other's identity. Hijinks ensue. Sweaters are swapped. One twin dates the other's girlfriend. Only this time, they're doing it with the law. What-freaking-ever. Eugene looks pissed. He says, "I don't like being played for a fool, Doctor." Isaac says, "If I told you what I was going to say, would I have been called to testify?" Eugene replies, "If it's the truth, yes."
Whoosh.
Client Room. Jerry says, "You don't know what the truth is." Eugene explains, "Well, the jury's going to know what the truth is --" They argue for a bit. Voices are raised. Stakes are high. Jerry explains that he and Isaac love each other, and that's why he went along with it. He shouts, "You just sell that, Counselor, because you don't know it's not the truth." Eugene shouts back, "I know it's not the truth --" Jerry screams over his lawyer, "You just sell it." Eugene walks out the door. He doesn't say a word.
Helen's Office. She throws her briefcase down on the desk. Aw, poor Gamble. She's having a bad day. Callie comes in and asks, "What's going on? First the DNA and now the twin? Is he going to get off?" Helen says, "I hope not. I'm so sorry." Now it's Callie's turn to leave. She stomps away, leaving Helen alone in her room. Helen pulls on her bottom lip. She sucks up some emotion, scrunches up her face a little bit, and tries to pretend she's not made of ice. It doesn't work. Lara Flynn Boyle's fake crying is pretty bad. Thank gosh she's playing an alien in Men in Black II. That's a part that won't really interfere with her "ice queen" range.
