Helen's Office. Eugene knocks before houn'-doggin' it into her office. He's taken off his tie and unbuttoned his shirt. He sits down. I guess they're friends again. He tells Helen that the judge finally allowed him to withdraw. He won't be Darryl's attorney for the next trial, and Helen has his best wishes. Helen: "They certainly reached a verdict on us, didn't they?" Eugene responds, "Yup." It got a little ugly, but Helen didn't think they were "that out of line." They bond. They decide they can't beat themselves up over this; then they both say, "Heads high." And that's the end, thankfully, of that little moment of introspection.
