Real World - Road Rules Challenge

Melissa strokes Jamie's ego some more before asking him whether he was ever scared or angry. Jamie says that the producers told them they would all be challenged, and that he didn't believe it, but he cites doing improv or "being body slammed on national TV," as two examples of things that challenged him.

Melissa introduces a segment called "Fact or Fiction." Melissa says that Dan wouldn't speak to the Road Rules team after they called him a drama queen. Dan explains that it was during the cheerleading mission, and that they did a dance move where they walked around with limp wrists, and he thought it was homophobic at best. But, Dan continues, when Emily finally asked what he was upset about, he explained, and she immediately apologized and explained that they didn't mean to be hurtful. God forbid Dan not be passive-aggressive about it. Instead, he just didn't talk to them for a week. Nice. Way to eradicate your drama-queen image. Dan concludes that he wasn't mad that they lost the mission -- he was mad because he thought they were making fun of him for being "queer," except MTV bleeps out the word "queer" for no apparent reason.

Mark reads an email question, which asks whether anyone wanted to give up and go home. Didn't we already have this question, twice? Ayanna says that she wanted to give up in the first mission, when she had to bungee jump with balls in her mouth. Should Ayanna even be allowed to answer this question? Mark directs the question to Michelle and Emily. Michelle says that she can't speak for everyone, but she felt that everything went downhill after the paintball mission. She adds that they had a "lack of trust with production or with each other." Kameelah agrees. Dan says that, at that point, they didn't trust each other anymore. James agrees. Dan says that they were all ready to be hurt again, and gives examples of the injuries they all suffered.
