Mike collects the fish from Sean and Elka. Sean voice-overs that the final leg involves padding a longboard to shore and getting two more fish along the way. Theo and Hollywick are already on their way, lying on the board on their stomachs. Theo's teammates yell at him to get his feet up out of the water so that he doesn't slow them down. Emily and Tara have an expletive-filled conversation about how much time their team lost due to the knotty fish. Hollywick grabs a fish out of the water and passes it to Theo. Mike's teammates scream at him to back up on the board. Mike is so far forward on the board that he's on top of Coral, and the entire nose of the board is in the water, which isn't doing much for their speediness. In an interview, Kelley says, "Mike's riding Coral. Not the longboard. Coral. I'm giving myself a heart attack trying to tell them to back up, but he doesn't get it." Theo suddenly hops off the board and starts swimming, and Timmy realizes that they dropped a fish. Dan yells at Hollywick to hold up and wait for Theo. In an interview, Theo says, "I'm struggling like a shocked squirrel in a pile of poo. I got nothing." Shut up, Theo.
Theo and Hollywick reach shore. Theo is exhausted, and his teammates try to help him. Timmy massages Theo's shoulders and reminds him to breathe, and it's very HoYay. The RR team takes off to begin the next leg.
In an interview, Elka says that the RR team has moved on, but that her team is still waiting for Mike and Coral. Sean yells himself hoarse, trying to encourage them.
The RR team reaches the next leg, which is a puzzle. Dan reads the rules aloud. They have three poles and six fish. They have to stack the fish on the first pole, with the largest at the bottom and the smallest at the top. Then, they have to move all of the fish to the third pole, stacked in the same order, by moving one fish at a time to another pole. A bigger fish can never be on top of a smaller fish. Each contestant seems to have his or her own idea about how this puzzle should proceed. In an interview, Tara says that they are all frustrated and can't figure it out. If you want to try a similar puzzle to the fish game, go here. Thanks to hammy for posting the link in the forums. I was able to solve it with six disks, but it took me a really, really long time.
