The fifth match features Kat and Holly wrestling one another. Seriously, this was about the best match of the whole bunch. At one point, Kat chokes Holly and they have to break it up, but eventually Kat gets the pin. The score is now RW 6, RR 4. Amaya does a little celebration dance that features her heaving bosom, like she has anything to do with the win.
The sixth and final match is about to get underway, and it will feature Yes and David. David looks really intense and really serious. Yes says he has "been looking forward to wrestling Dave for a while." See what I mean about the sexual tension? Do straight guys really look forward to wrestling each other? Like, even before they know that they will be on a mission where they are forced to wrestle each other? I'm not saying there's anything wrong with their having some sexual tension. I'm just pointing it out for the kids at home. Dan is way too excited about the match. He tells us that his team is down by two and that Yes has to pin David for them to stay in the competition. Yes has on those really long shorts like basketball players wear, and I can't help thinking they are going to restrict his movement somewhat. Maybe he was embarrassed about his unit, seeing as how David allegedly has something to be proud of, and Yes might pale in comparison. Anyway, they start wrestling and Yes has the early advantage. Then David gets Yes up against the ropes and they have to start over in the middle of the ring. David almost gets a pin, but time runs out and it is a draw. The final score is RW 7, RR 5.
The Real World team celebrates their victory, and is awarded ten thousand E*Trade dollars by Verne Troyer. Amaya starts yelling, "What did I tell you? What did I tell you? Second place is the first loser. Yeah!" Okay, first of all, SHUT UP, AMAYA! Second, that doesn't even make sense. Third, poor sport much? And fourth, you just went over the line. You are now rechristened Annoying now and forever. Enjoy it. You've earned it. Holly agrees with me, as she whispers, "Shut up, Amaya." Heather comes over and tells Amaya to "be good." Dan says his team is sad because this is the second mission that they have lost and they "exerted enormous amounts of energy," so they feel let down.
The teams board their respective buses. On the Road Rules bus, the team is discussing their loss. Holly says she hates to lose. Yes says that "the tables weren't on [their] side tonight." Okay, that also doesn't make any sense. What tables? Are these people on drugs? Veronica says she can't lose again. Los feels that their coach should have told Piggy to try to get a draw, because "Heather is twice [her] weight." You know, I think Heather B. probably weighs less now than she did when she was on Real World, and even so, I doubt she weighs twice what Piggy weighs. And also, Los, even if she did, it's kind of shitty to point that out. Yes says a good coach wouldn't have helped. Veronica tries to rally the troops by saying that they need to be able to make their own strategies. Los tells us he "doesn't get into their thing" and that it makes him feel lonely. My heart cries for you, Los. Maybe if you had any social skills, you could make a friend or two.
