MONDO EXTRAS
Inside the Inner Circle
Mark asks Coral why she wore a t-shirt that said, "For Lori." She did? They show a clip of Coral wearing that t-shirt, but I don't remember seeing it. Coral explains that it referred to Lori, her roommate from The Real World Back to New York. Lori was supposed to be in the Challenge, but after September 11, wasn't able to get on a plane and make it, so Coral came instead, and gave her a shout-out.
Mark asks what the contestants wish had been shown more, or shown less. Coral says that she wishes they had shown more of how Stephen really was; she says she knows that sounds mean to say, but that she's not a nice person. Coral thinks that a lot of the actions were misinterpreted, and that when they voted Stephen off, the viewers "weren't as informed as they could have been as to his influence on all of our...what we were doing." Hollywick nods in agreement. Mark asks if the contestants wish that less of something had been shown. Sean says, "Less of Mike's ass." Can I get an amen? A couple of people yell, "Less Jisela." Coral adds, "Less Veronica." Tim agrees, and asks if Jisela was getting paid per syllable. Hee!
Lindsay introduces the first topic. This is the first topic? Lindsay asks what it was like to have to vote off their friends and teammates. Flashback to Chadwick suggesting that they get rid of some of the teams in the middle of the pack, and Theo agreeing that he'd be more comfortable if some of his competition were eliminated. Piggy and Emily agree to eliminate Yes and Veronica. In an interview, Veronica calls the game "ugly." In the next Inner Circle, Chadwick and Piggy are voted off, despite Hollywick's arguments to the contrary. Wow, I forgot what a dick Chadwick looked like when he yelled at Dan to tell the truth and then raised his glass in a sarcastic toast. Jerk. Flashback to Sean's interview where he said that Stephen wasn't very well-liked, and then Stephen popped up around the corner. Hee! That still cracks me up. Flashback to Coral saying that Stephen's negative energy was affecting her, and Kelley refusing to vote Lindsay off. Then, Mike announces that Stephen and Lindsay are leaving, and Stephen says that his teammates "suck really bad." I don't know -- I think I read in a police report that Stephen sucks really bad. Ba dum bum. Flashback to Norm getting pissed off about the Inner Circle vote. In an interview, Coral says, "You know, being in the Inner Circle really sucked. Psych! I got to vote people off! It's the best position to be in! Hello?" Thank God for Coral -- this season would not have been the same without her.
