MONDO EXTRAS
Inside the Inner Circle
Lindsay asks Hollywick how she felt when she realized that the Inner Circle was going to vote off Chadwick, her husband. Hollywick says that she thinks her teammates thought that, with one of the Wicks gone, the other would fall apart, which isn't what happened. Lindsay follows up by asking if Hollywick warned Chadwick that he was going to be voted off. Of course she did! Duh. Hollywick says that she wouldn't let the vote sneak up on Chadwick. For some reason, they cut to Sean shaking his head no. Because he's the other married guy on the show? I don't know. I totally think it makes sense that Hollywick would tell her husband, as much as I hate them.
Lindsay asks the entire RW team if they think that anyone still harbors a grudge about getting kicked off. Um, wouldn't Lindsay be the best person to answer that question? Coral says, "I'm still waiting for Stephen to swing down from a vine in some fatigues and get mad at me or something." Timmy adds that Stephen would actually be wearing pastels, and there are a few uncomfortable giggles. Come on! That was funny! I guess they all feel like Stephen now has bigger problems than being voted off the show, what with his arrest and all. Lindsay asks if they would have changed the voting at all. Sean says that they didn't have any difficult decisions to make, besides the Lindsay and Stephen vote. In hindsight, Sean thinks that it was the best decision, because of Stephen and not Lindsay. Mark asks Kelley -- who had trouble with the vote -- whether she now understands the reasons behind it. Kelley says that she understood it at the time, but she didn't want Lindsay to leave. I wish that Lindsay had used her time off to get a hot oil treatment, because her hair looks like straw. Lindsay says that Stephen upset a lot of people, and asks whether the tension eased after Stephen left. Coral says that they resolved the Becky and Norm problem right after the vote, which wasn't shown, and that everything went back to normal. Sean adds that they explained everything to Becky and Norm, who understood. Coral says that she thinks it's difficult for people who weren't in the Inner Circle to understand what it's like, and she reminds everyone that she and Mike were in the Inner Circle every time. Everyone kind of chuckles, but not really.
Mark reminds us that while most people would just chill and enjoy the scenery, a couple of the contestants had to get in each other's faces. Not nearly enough, though. Flashback to Emily getting the shitty email from Chadwick. Then we get to hear Becky puking again, and Timmy's claim that he's "hanging drywall." How does this fit into the "fight" theme? Because they were fighting death? Flashback to Mike touching Tara's boobie, which again, has nothing to do with fighting. Except me, fighting the urge to throw up. Then, Mike gets really drunk and yells at everyone, which I guess sort of has to do with fighting. I'm starting to think that Mark screwed up and introduced the wrong clip package. Then Tara says that she's being disrespectful to her ex-boyfriend. Flashback to Theo and Mike wrestling, and then Coral yelling that she couldn't breathe. Which I guess is kind of like fighting, except that it was part of a mission. All in all, that clip package gets a big thumbs-down in terms of sticking to theme. Where were Belounatic and The Wicks? Where were Stephen and Coral?
