Kalle is going up in the crane. Nathan is cheering her on, even though she's not on his team. He wants to be on her team, though, if you know what I'm saying. Kalle jumps and doesn't get any rings. Nathan tells Beth and Montana that if it's tied, one of them will have to go. Beth again advances her "start from the top of the order" theory, but Nathan says that he doesn't want them to think that they won't have to go. Didn't Neil just tell us that his team isn't competitive? Montana tells the camera that peer pressure doesn't go away after high school.
Anne is up next. In an interview, Anne explains that Roni and Kalle didn't get any rings, so the score is tied and she's the only person left on her team. Have I mentioned that Anne looks really unhealthy in her confessionals? I don't know if it's the lighting or what, but she looks skeletal. Anne jumps and gets one ring, so her team is leading five to four. In an interview, Kefla says that Anne came up with a ring like a champ. Anne screeches that it was "so scary," and that she thinks her eyeballs fell into the water.
Tool tests Janet's grip by asking her to squeeze his hand. Janet passes the test and gets back in the crane to try again. In an interview, Jason asks, "How big are those balls?" You'd know, Jason. Oh, wait -- that doesn't happen for a few more episodes. Forget I said anything. Janet appears relaxed as the crane goes up. Meanwhile, back on the boat, Beth is still complaining about putting a harness on her ankle, and Nathan tells her that her excuse is a load of crap. In an interview, Montana says that Beth uses her injury to get out of a lot of things. I don't know why they're even arguing about this until after Janet goes. Beth tells the camera that "it's all about Beth doing the bungee jump and not Montana," even though Montana is healthy. Beth asks Montana why she can't go, and Montana says that she is terrified of it. Beth replies, "Same here." I hate Beth. I mean, if you're scared, I guess I can understand that, although I don't know why you would do the Challenge. But Beth just uses whatever excuse she thinks will work to get out of everything. Hate her.
