Tool calls for a Real World team member to jump next. Nathan and Jason try to convince Beth or Montana to do it, saying that they only need one ring, and that this might be the only competition they can win. In an interview, Montana says that she took herself out of the running at that point. Montana tells the boys that she really can't do it, and that she feels terrible about it. Jason voice-overs that he knew Montana wouldn't do it, so the pressure's on Beth. Tool says something about using a body harness instead of an ankle harness. Beth sits there and thinks. Neil says that he didn't want to do it, and that he did, which is a good point. Jason tells Beth that she'll never have the whole team relying on her, ever again. Beth starts crying. Tool tells her that she can think about it for a minute, and then he needs an answer; she actually gets two minutes and two seconds to think about it, because we go to commercial.
When we come back, Beth is still contemplating. Tool reminds her that if she doesn't go, the Road Rules team wins. Finally, Tool tells her that he needs a decision. Beth says that she can't do it. Mark tells her that it's all right. Of course he thinks it's all right -- his team just won! Tool tools, "That's totally cool," and announces that the Road Rules team wins, bringing their total time in the money chamber to three minutes. In an interview, Nathan says that he thinks one of the girls should have at least tried to tie it. Instead, they quit, and "quitting is a waste of time." I wonder if I can get that embroidered on a pillow and autographed by Nate-dawg.
Tool holds up an oversized deck of cards and hands it to Mark, who sorts through the deck and finds a tape, which they play. On the tape, David tells them that they need to "get their creative juices flowing, because it's going to get real dicey in Vegas." Everyone cheers for Las Vegas. In an interview, Montana says that this is her team's event, and that they have to win it. In an interview, Kefla says that his team is going for a clean sweep.
Tool announces that the Road Rules team gets to go back on the luxury tour bus, and for the Real World team, "the beat-up old Winnie has been replaced." In an interview, Nathan tells us that Bessie is dead. In an interview, Jason says that he was thinking that Bessie would be replaced with something even worse, but instead they got a brand-new Winnebago. Nathan and Jason do "rock, paper, scissors" to see who gets to drive. Jason voice-overs that he would have rather had Bessie. Jason tells his team that they have Johnny Cash on tape, and half a tank of gas, so they're going all the way to Vegas. As Johnny Cash sings "Ring of Fire," the Real World team dances and mugs on their Winnie. As much as I dislike most of the people on the team, it's nice to see them having such a good time together.
