Okay, this might be a record for the "Previously On…" segment. Not one thing that they show happened previously on any episode. Not one. Why do they bother? Why not just have the voice-over say something like, "Since we last met, this is what happened." I know, I'm nitpicking, but it really bugs me. Anyway, Kameelah says in an interview that they got a message that they were going to Europe. James feels that the second half of the Challenge will be his team's time. He says, "Winning is not an option. It's like a mandatory requirement." Isn't that redundant? Isn't a requirement mandatory by nature? Who am I kidding -- it's James. He's redundant. All over again.

Wow, they weren't kidding around about the going to Europe thing. The kids are all assembled in the airport, waiting for their flight. In an interview, Julie says that she's "so excited" to go to London. Waiting in line. Passport checking. Boarding call. You know the routine.

I guess they've arrived because there is a montage of the famous London landmarks. I amuse myself by saying, "Look, kids! Big Ben! Parliament!" Well, it's funnier than what they're showing on the air right now. Some brand spanking new buses pull up. How embarrassing is it that these people are traveling around England in these buses? Like it was bad enough in the United States, but in other countries, they're kind of representative of our culture as a whole and…well, most other countries already hate Americans anyway, so this will just give them more fuel for the fire. The kids board their respective buses, which are apparently much nicer than the stateside versions. Rebecca pronounces it "a phatty phat pad." Dan discovers that there are two levels to the buses. Wow, those are nice. Syrrhosis tells us that they are "double-decker tour buses." Out on the street, a car rolls up, and Kameelah says to the driver, "Excuse me, sir, would you happen to have any Grey Poupon?" The interns at Bunim-Murray furiously try to get some ad dollars from the makers of Grey Poupon, but they refuse, because their target audience is pretty much "everyone but the people who watch that show." Laterrian grabs Kameelah and they run off. Julie laughs for about twenty more minutes. A group consisting of members from both teams goes around and takes pictures of themselves in front of the famous landmarks.

Emily and Susie are eating at Au Bon Pain, I think. At least, that's what their cups say. Anyway, Susie is explaining that everyone on her team is about making friends and having fun, and everyone on the other team, like "Syrus and them" are about winning the money. In an interview, Susie says that she has to pay for books, loans, and college tuition, and that she notices that her team is more excited about the friendships than the money. What they need is a Heather B. on their team. She was all about the money, but she had fun too. Emily says that their
