To reinforce Bananas's point, the editors provide some footage of Timmy's tragic expulsion. It is, I probably need not even mention, sepia-toned.
Cara and Susie play pool. Cara interviews that she can't really fly under the radar anymore re: getting picked for Infernos, Susie keeps getting picked and winning Life Shields and blah but her (Cara's) number is probably up soon. Which, not, because if Susie wins an LS, she'd clearly send Paula in. The two of them pre-strategize about who to send in, and who the Bad Asses would pick; Susie is confident in her abilities, but it's "essentially a crapshoot" because "anybody could go home."
The clue arrives. After some unpleasant imagery involving Derrick's ass and the Sidekick, we hear that "tomorrow's Challenge will get you pumped." Tonya makes a weak Hans-and-Franz joke; she interviews that, if she gets picked, she'll "go balls to the wall" for the Life Shield and put Aneesa in the Inferno. Paula blathers something really fast about inflating flying away something who knows, and Cara teases her, but it's a good-natured moment.
Janelle talks about BA momentum. Then we cut outside, where Jenn is slurring at Aneesa about how, actually, Aneesa's knee affects the rest of the team vis-à-vis their ability to win at the end. Aneesa claims she can "push through that shit," and interviews that her team feels she should go in the Inferno or go home; she sees the choices as "go fuck yourself" or "go fuck yourself." Jenn is trying to reason with her, asking what happens if the last Challenge involves jumping of some kind, but Aneesa won't admit any weakness even though it's a valid question. Jenn tells her that the team will keep bringing it up.
Challenge. It's a hand-cart race, but before I can fire up the Wile E. Coyote joke, Ace does it for me, saying he's seen hand-carts in cartoons a hundred times and he always kind of wanted to try one. So did I, actually. Hee. (You guys? Ace is still here. Weird, eh? Watch, I totally just jinxed him.) Basically the teams have to race back and forth, picking each other up within a designated stop zone at each end of the course, and everyone has to pump at least one lap, blah.
