Booty Call!

Julie: It was good that the three of us had time to sit around and get to know one another, especially Heather and Becky. Back in the loft their schedules are totally different, everything's totally different and they have no reason to hang out with one another, but here, they've learned more about one another and like each other way more than I think they ever thought they would.

Becky asks Julie what her worst date was. Julie tells them a very "Boy Was My Face Red" moment straight out of YM, about how a boy she'd been wanting to date for two weeks finally asked her out, and they went down to a lakehouse, but Julie got her period and spent the date sitting on a rock bleeding all over her white shorts. I'll let Julie sum it up: "It kind of ruined the moment."

Becky's voice-over tells us that the girls decided to check out the nude beach, since Norman told us the whole place was nude. Julie brings along her video camera. We see some grainy video camera shots, and then, there's Becky, with her appetizers displayed but handily blacked out with a black strip. Julie tells Heather to Take It Off. Heather tells her she's going to get beaten up, and to turn the fucking camera off.

Heather: We went down to the nude beach because we thought we were finally going to get to see it all. But we get down there, and every man looks like a high school principal. Fat. Bald. Gross.

I love Heather. She really does have a way with words. Shots of the various meat on display at the beach demonstrate that Heather's description is ultra-accurate.

We see a shot of Julie, with all the naughty bits blacked out, getting into the water. She's nekkid as a jaybird, obviously. She tells us how some creep came up to her and told her she had the best breasts on the beach, and would she mind if he touched them? Julie rolls her eyes at what a moron the guy was.

Back to rainy NYC and the loft. Andre's voice-over tells us that he and Kevin had been speaking that day -- or rather, Kevin had been speaking to him, and he was hungry, and so was Kevin, so they went out to get something to eat. We see them at dinner, where Kevin's asking Andre how he got into music. Andre tells Kevin how it's in his family, and how his mother had an album with Capitol Records, which was a combination between The Manhattan Transfer and The Osmonds. Wow, somehow that does not sound like Two Great Tastes That Taste Great Together.
