In a confessional, Kelley says they're about to walk out the door. Danny says he feels a lot more mature. Julie says she's been tested and able to keep her mind open while standing firm in her beliefs. Matt closes the Belfort door for the last time. They all ride in a van to the airport. No one is talking.
Danny is the first to go. Everyone hugs him. In an interview, Danny says he's excited to go out in the world and put his lessons to use. Julie makes him cry. Danny says he'll miss Kelley the most because he connected with her "on a real level." Danny leaves.
Everyone hugs Matt. Julie pretends she doesn't care that he's leaving. Matt is all Brian Krakow awkward pausing (tm Key Grip). They hug as the music says, "Don't bother leaving me." In an interview, Matt says the experience has "seasoned his character." What is he, a roast chicken? Now Matt and Julie are in the parking garage, and Julie wants a kiss. Matt goes to kiss her but Julie wants the setting to be perfect. She puts on some Céline Dion and hangs up a few posters of unicorns. Julie keeps arguing over the terms of the kiss. Matt finally just kisses her quickly on the lips as Julie tries for more. Matt finally escapes.
David is leaving. Everyone hugs him. In an interview, David says he has changed in terms of what he's learned and "what can be implemented to [him]." It's fitting that David's final words don't make any sense. David leaves.
Peter shows up. How convenient that he was returning on the same day everyone else was leaving. Kelley is all surprised that he's there. Didn't she know when he was arriving? Kelley hugs everyone. She tells Julie to have fun. Peter hugs everyone. Julie cries. Some little kid in the background runs away from his parents.
Jamie's leaving. Julie hugs him. Melissa kisses him and hops up with her legs around his waist. In an interview, Melissa says that she will miss Jamie and she hopes he misses her the same so that "when [they] reunite in that hotel room in Chicago, and [they] start making that sweet love, boy it'll be good." Hey, that clip is on the Real World You Never Saw video! False advertising! I saw it. In a confessional, Jamie says he grew. Jamie leaves.
Melissa tells Julie she's starting all over "brand-new style." Melissa and Julie hug. Julie says that they will party in L.A. Melissa leaves.
Julie skateboards through the airport for about forty-five minutes. Isn't this season over yet? Julie says that her favorite memory with David is when they went to the studio, and we see a black-and-white clip of same. The rave with Danny was her best time in New Orleans. Again, flashback. She thinks the mud pit was interesting. Flashback. Melissa's birthday party -- flashback. Julie says, "My favorite moment with Matt?" and then they show the clip of them kissing in the parking garage, even though she totally didn't say that would be her favorite moment. Well, it wouldn't be the end of the season without one last blatant editing manipulation, now, would it? In a confessional, Julie says that everyone is a chapter or sentence in the book of her life. Julie gets on the plane with her skateboard and waves goodbye.
