The female roommates plus Randy head to a mall. Cameran spots (NOOOOO!) a trucker hat kiosk. Oh, dear Lord. Cameran wants to get one embroidered, and jokes that Robin should buy one that says "United States Marine Corps." Frankie picks one out and gets it embroidered to say "Dave Rocks." Gag me with a spoon. Setting aside the trucker-hat issue, who over the age of fourteen would think that was cool? Actually, I still haven't quite gotten over the fact that there are trucker-hat kiosks in our nation's malls. I'm also annoyed by Frankie's fashion choice of "bra straps hanging down the shoulders." The first time I saw it, I thought they just slid down, but I've seen it on her three or four times now, so it has to be a choice. And it's unacceptable. Cameran is just as disgusted as I am. Frankie tells the vendor that Dave is her boyfriend, and she tells someone else that at least Dave will know that she was thinking about him. Frankie interviews that she wants to make Dave believe that she loves him. Wow, how could she do that? Maybe stop making out with other guys?
Frankie gets home and calls Dave, who sounds sad. Frankie asks what's wrong. Frankie interviews that the whole situation has been very stressful for both of them, and that they have to stop hurting each other and themselves. Frankie tells Dave not to be sad. Oh, okay. Now that she's has ordered him to be happy, I'm sure he'll perk right up. Dave says that he misses her a lot, and Frankie returns the sentiment. Dave says that he feels inadequate. Frankie interviews that Dave's pride is important, so she's going to say what he needs to hear. Dave must have gotten all emotional after watching An American Tail, because he tells Frankie to go outside and look at the moon and know that he's looking at the same moon. Frankie agrees to do it, and they tell each other that they love each other.
