Pedro isn't feeling well. Pam tells us that he's sicker than he has been. He's exhausted and got sick in Miami. We get a flashback of Pedro sick in Miami. Judd tells us that Pedro's been worse since he got back from Miami. Pedro says that he's been feverish for the past couple of weeks, and that he's not sweating. Judd says he's been denying that Pedro is sick, and he thinks he shouldn't deny it anymore. Judd's so beautiful. Pedro says it's hard to run out of breath because it reminds him that he's sick.
Cory's ass is always on the kitchen counter. That's so gross. Pedro's trying to eat on the counter, preparing food next to her dirty ass. He's sick, Cory. Pedro coughs, and Sean feels his forehead. He says that Pedro's warmer than usual. Pedro says that Sean takes good care of him and is always on top of his medications. He says it's nice to be with someone that he knows will take care of him.
Dinner. Everyone talks at once while they eat lasagna. Someone asks where Pedro is. He's at Sean's, resting. They make Mother's Day cards, and says they'll make one for Pedro later. Sean calls to say that Pedro's temperature is 104. The doctor suggests they go to the emergency room. I don't know why they asked Judd for confirmation, but they do, and Judd says they should go. So they do.
Judd cries on the porch and tells us that he's very close with Pedro and doesn't want him to die. He's very sad and scared and doesn't know what he can do about Pedro dying. Pedro enters the hospital as we go to commercial.
Pedro and Sean hold each other. Pedro was worried he'd have to stay overnight if he was admitted.
Back at the house, Cory warbles that life is so precious, and that life is short. Rachel thinks that Pedro is so alive that it's hard to believe he's sick. Cory says that last night she realized Pedro's really sick. "That is such a heavy burden to be carrying around every day," she says. She thinks it's sad that Sean knows his boyfriend is going to die.
Sean and Pedro walk out of the hospital. It's raining. Pedro says that he's lucky because it could have been worse. He's on antibiotics for twenty-one days. Cory welcomes Pedro home. So does Pam. Pedro says that everyone was walking on eggshells with him. Pedro explains the painful procedures he had to go through. He complains about having to tell the same story over and over for two days. Pam teaches people how to read a thermometer. Sean threatens to give Pedro the thermometer anally.
