There's some footage of planes landing. I'll bet one of those is Dave's plane! I wonder if he is on it or not! I guess that's what I'm supposed to be thinking. Really, I'm like, "I wonder if we have any string cheese in the fridge?" Answer: yes. Awesome. Dave comes down an escalator, carrying his guitar. Frankie spots him and says she's going to piss her pants because she's so excited. She runs over and hugs him. Frankie interviews that she's never been happier to see someone in her life. They make out while Jamie watches. In a confessional, Jamie says that she's never seen Frankie so happy, and that it makes her happy. I think Jamie might be a little too involved in Frankie's life. Frankie forces Jamie to tell Dave that Frankie has never smiled this much since she's been in San Diego.
Back at the house, Dave meets Cameran. Cameran interviews that Dave is very skinny, has a pierced lip and earrings, and tattoos. She concludes that he's "an interesting-looking young man." Blink blink blink. Heh. Cameran has good comic timing. Jamie gives Dave the gift she bought for him. Dave is all psyched that it's from the Hustler store, and whaps Frankie on the ass. She pretends she's mad, but you can tell she loves the attention. In a confessional, Jamie says that she doesn't understand their relationship, but that she can tell they love each other.
In the guest bedroom, Frankie and Dave hug and cuddle on the bed. Dave says he's glad Frankie is happy to see him. Frankie interviews that seeing each other in person helped them to get over their differences. Then I think Frankie and Dave are totally doing it, but thankfully, the blankets are on top of them so you can't see anything. Bleh.
Robin sits out on the deck with Brad and Cameran. She asks what Dave looks like. In response, Cameran says that Frankie has no right to criticize Cameran's taste in men anymore. Cameran tells the others about Jamie's stupid gift, and they all laugh. Cameran jokes that it was difficult to meet Dave, since his name has only been spoken with "frustration and disdain" in their house. Brad asks if he should push Dave around a little bit. Please?
Frankie and Dave walk to the beach. Frankie interviews that Dave is the best person in the world, and that he's perfect. While I think that it's great if you think your significant other is a good person, is it healthy to think that he or she is perfect? And did I just use the concept of Frankie and the concept of a healthy relationship in the same sentence? Dave goes swimming in the ocean wearing only boxers. I want to make fun of him, but when my husband went to San Diego, he did the same thing, although I think he wore swimming trunks. And then the lifeguard yelled that there were violent riptides, so everyone had to get out of the water, and my husband was the only one actually in the water. So when he saw Dave headed for the ocean, he was like, "Watch out for the violent riptides, man!" And I was like, "I hope Dave does get swept away in a violent riptide." And my husband was like, "Wow, you're mean." So he doesn't think I'm perfect. Are we destined for divorce? Frankie wades into the water and complains that it's cold. I hope she doesn't get pneumonia and die! And what if a big boat comes by? Frankie interviews, as we see flashbacks of Adam, that she and Dave need to talk about some things, but that they are avoiding that discussion. Dave tells Frankie that he's glad he came to visit.
