Kurt gives Clark a gun first thing, which he immediately uses to kill a warthog that he thinks is a Morcego. Jahel points out that this will make Captain Planet cry and they are all going to end up blinded. Meanwhile, the dudes trash one of AJ's cameras when he's not looking, which is really just a plot reason for everybody to hate him more for no real reason. While everybody flips out about the fact that they are going blind and being hunted like dogs, that little tick-tock countdown in your head that tells you Tess is about to succumb to whatever the thing is this week goes off.

Tess: "My eyes are tingling and I can't see out of them! Perhaps this is related."

BACK ON THE MAGUS

Tess can't even manage to get up the ladder onto the boat without pratfalling all over the place, and everybody acts super worried even though she is a nonstop liability. Feeling jealous of the attention, Lena determines that she too is going blind, and then acts all put off when Lincoln tries to survey the situation by snatching at her eyeballs with his medical training.

Lena: "My itchy eyes probably have nothing to do with the other two people in our group going blind! And I don't think this is an infection. I think its magic eye diagram powers. And this is not even by a long shot the most bullshitty thing I'm going to be saying in this episode."

While Jahel thinks about radioing for help, Lincoln goes into full medical mode and Clark approaches Kurt out on the prow.

Clark: "I wasn't going to say anything, because clearly your plan to kill all of us and Dr. Cole when we find him is your business, but I do want to say that I am panicking for some reason and that I want you to use your secret satphone to call in the Aryan cavalry."
Kurt: "No."
Clark: "Okay."
Kurt: "But thanks for telling me you know my entire plan. I look forward to murdering you by sundown."

Lincoln: "How about a saline wash? Has that cured your blindness?"
Tess: "No. I am still blind."
Lincoln: "Well, that is the extent of my medical expertise. Guess you're blind now."

Jahel: "Mayday! Mayday! This is the Magus! Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!"
