Curly takes off in her car as Paris and Nicole walk to the truck, carrying their pies. They do both kind of walk like penguins, but I think it's because they are trying to walk on grass while wearing spike-heeled boots. Paris turns the key, and badness ensues. There is grinding and squealing. Nicole says that she smells burnt rubber. Paris tries to turn the key again, and nothing at all happens, Except that smoke starts coming out of the hood. Nicole suggests that they go inside. Paris oh-so-nonchalantly suggests that they leave the pies outside, because that makes a lot of sense. And they put them on the ground.

Inside, Paris calls Justin to say that the truck is dead, and ask him to pick them up. Outside, one of the Ledings' dogs pulls the foil from one of the pies, which was conveniently left on the ground for him. Even if you weren't worried about dogs, wouldn't you be worried about bugs? At the Gala, Curly brags to the other women about the pies Paris and Nicole made, and promises that the girls will be there soon. Outside, the dog chows down on the pie. Dirty!

Back at the Gala, some sort of race featuring a lot of shirtless men who should really be wearing shirts begins. Nearby, Curly worries that Paris and Nicole are late, and asks if they will hear Justin pull up. Back at the farm, Paris and Nicole are in no hurry as they explain to Justin and a friend what happened with the truck. Justin offers the opinion that it's probably their starter, since nothing at all happens when they turn the key. Out of the blue, Nicole asks if Justin and his friend ever French kiss. Nicole laughs and Justin says no. Nicole asks if they would do it just to turn a girl on. Paris -- who is busy putting makeup on her legs (?) -- says, "Ew!" I don't know if she's homophobic or just grossed out that Nicole brought it up or what. Nicole says she loves it when two guys kiss, and asks Paris if she's ever seen it. Paris asks if she means straight guys. Nicole says yes, and adds that it's "a known thing." Paris adds another "Ew!" and Nicole cackles.
