Da Giovanni. Inside, it's light, bright, and busy. Members of the New York and New Jersey families are gathered inside to celebrate the confirmation of Phil's grandson. Ginny Sack walks through the room with a full plate of food. Carmela makes Tony try a bite of the gnocchi, and he has to admit that it's awesome, although he adds that he feels like a traitor. Carm thinks that Vesuvio is depressing lately, because "that menu is so tired." Some little kids start beating up Vito's son, calling him, "Homo Jr." Vito's wife breaks it up. Carmela gossips that she guesses Mrs. Spatafore can't just sit home and hide, because that would be admitting that there was something wrong. Sil and his wife return from the buffet, talking about how great the food is. Phil walks over, and Tony and Sil hug him, and hand over envelopes of cash for his grandson. Tony jokes about there being no restaurants in Brooklyn, so Phil came all the way to Jersey for the event. Phil says that the food is worth the detour, and asks whether there's a problem. Tony says that Artie's a a friend, and that Tony likes to throw him business.
Phil asks for a private conference, and when the two men are alone, Phil quietly says that John said he appreciates the recent headlines. Tony looks perplexed, so Phil clarifies, "Rusty!" Tony denies knowledge of anything having to do with Rusty. Phil says that some people might be offended, but that his "heart is an open book." As he says this, Phil opens his jacket to show that he's not wired up, and then says that they'll have to "chalk it up to the Headless Horseman." You'd think someone whose boss is in prison would be more careful about what he says to whom and where.
Closing time at Vesuvio. Artie walks out of the kitchen, and sees Martina rubbing Benny's inner thigh at the bar. Artie walks over and interrupts, and then asks to speak to Martina alone. Martina is worried about how serious Artie looks. Artie says that Martina's green card isn't happening now, and Martina responds, "Shit me." What Artie doesn't say is that Martina is being punished for groping Benny, although I also kind of wonder whether there ever were green-card proceedings at all, or whether the green-card proceedings were legitimate.
