Tony walks into the Bing and greets the Middle Eastern gang, who have apparently taken up permanent residence at the bar. Tony claps Artie on the shoulder and says hello. Artie is mesmerized by a stripper's boobies, and wistfully tells Tony, "You could fuck her, you know?" Tony says that he's still recovering, but that he's "starting to feel the old pressure." Artie spins a tale about how guys like him just get drunk and get a lap dance, and end up blowing a load in their pants. Tony says that more could be worked out. Artie says that it's not possible, but that he feels it is possible for Tony. Tony accuses Artie of being in a pissy mood, and they both go back to staring at the boobs. Artie says that Gabrielle Dante and Rosalie Aprile came in to Vesuvio for lunch and said that they all went to Da Giovanni for Phil's party. Tony has a "busted" look on his face, and says that they had to go, for Phil, but that it was nothing great, and that Carm got a little sick afterward. Artie thinks Gab was trying to intimate that he could learn something from Da Giovanni. Tony replies, "Well, she runs her mouth, that one." Artie chuckles over Tony saying that Carm got sick. Tony says that it was a business obligation. Artie snarks, "Uh oh. Last time I heard that, I had to call the fire department." Tony retorts, "Well, maybe you need another fresh start to fuck up." Ooh, the gloves are off. Artie throws down some money to pay his bill, and Tony tries to get him to stick around, apologizing. Artie says that he knows where Tony's heart is, and that he has to go plan his menu.
At home, Artie bitches to Charmaine that the restaurant business is like keeping an elephant: "It costs a fortune and, sooner or later, it shits on your head." This evolves into a discussion about their meat suppliers, and how Charmaine wanted Artie to talk to them. Charmaine tells Artie about how his chatting at the tables is turning people off. Artie gets all defensive, and Charmaine explains that people want to talk to each other, not Artie. Artie points out that New Jersey Zagat called him "Arthur Bucco, warm and convivial host." Charmaine is silent, because how can you respond to that?
Little Carmine and Christopher arrive at their hotel in L.A. Little Carmine talks to Ben Kingsley's agent to set up their meeting. Christopher wonders whether Kingsley can do a New Jersey accent. Yeah, he's only a classically-trained Oscar-winning actor. I doubt he can manage it. Little Carmine wants to hit the hotel bar, but isn't sure whether Christopher will be into it, since he's sober and all. Christopher spots a hot chick heading for the bar, and says he's sure he can handle it.
