Blake says he'd save Katrina, because Kim didn't have any urgency to her voice. Christina talks for 20 minutes about how hard her life is, having to make decisions on a TV show once a week, before she finally picks Katrina. Cee Lo thinks they all did great, but says that Katrina had energy and chose the best song. Adam congratulates them all for making it this far and admits that he doesn't think he could win this show. That makes me wonder who would win if the judges were competing. I'm guessing Blake, because you can't underestimate the collective voting power of country music fans. Anyway, after drawing it out for a while, Adam says he's not going to draw it out and picks Katrina. Really, get the girl a makeover, so I can root for her. Karla adorably thanks the hair and makeup team, before she's ushered off stage along with Kim. Never to be heard from again. Wouldn't it be awesome if the stage opened and there was a pit with a Rancor in it, and the losers had to fight for their lives?
More Christina Milian, and somehow they let her talk to Adam. A real judge and not just the contestants. That's strange. Who allowed that to happen? Can't imagine Christina agreeing to that, and you know Cee Lo would only go backstage if there were snacks. Adam says it is awkward in the back padded room, where people are just sitting on their cell phones and pretending that there isn't a live TV show happening. That's the understatement of the day, Adam. She sends him away to his real seat, and then talks to Katrina to fill some time while Adam gets away from the padded room.
Adam has made it back just in time to hear Tony Vincent singing "Sweet Dreams." It's loud and creepy and theatrical and very much like the Marilyn Manson version. I love every second of it. Cee Lo looks on impassively. You can tell he'd rather keep a hot chick.
