Christina gave 50 points to each of them. Fuckin' lame. I really hate her sometimes. Way to not make a decision. America gave Chris Mann 54 points, so he gets to stay. Meaning that my girl Lindsay is eliminated. At least it wasn't a complete landslide. Don't cry so much, Linds. There's not a chance in hell that I'll ever buy a song by Chris Mann, but I'll definitely listen to more of your music.
Vicci Martinez is back and she's got her former coach Cee Lo performing her new single, "Come Along." At least this makes more sense than Dia and Kid Cudi. She looks fabulous, but this song is boring as shit. Even with the random dancers doing cartwheels in the background.
Time for more eliminations! It's Team Adam, A.K.A Katrina Parker vs. Tony Lucca. Adam says that they are both incredible and have improved so much. Both make him really happy. He goes on about the launching pad that this show can be. Adam gave 40 points to Katrina and 60 to Tony. He thinks they are both equally talented, but he connected better with Tony in a way that could lead him to win. He does give Katrina the most improved award. I'm glad he made this decision, but now he's rambling forever and talking about his bromance with Tony. SHUT UP. Tony gets 108 points, and slides through to the finals. Oh and this has to suck for Katrina, because she got 52 points from America (though I had to do math because it wasn't like Carson was going to tell me, he just showed me some sliding info graph with the final totals). So if Adam had gone 50/50, Katrina would have survived to the final week. At least Adam's bromance can live on. I really hate that I have to do goddamn math on a random Tuesday night.
Christina Milian has Erin backstage because it is her birthday. She's wearing a princess party hat and gets a delicious looking cupcake. God, it's gonna suck when she gets eliminated on her birthday.
Beverly McClellan is on stage with Cyndi Lauper doing "Money Changes Everything." I'm in love with this on every possible level. I couldn't think of a person better suited to perform with Bev. Cyndi's having some earpiece issues, so she sounds like crap at the beginning, but gets it quickly and sings like crazy. There's a lot of sing-shouting, but I'm having a hard time caring because this is just a fun performance. Even when they start shoving each other around. Even Carson says, "That. Was. Fun." In his most boring newscaster voice ever. Is he not allowed to be excited about things?
