Terry and Cassadee sing "Little Talks" by Of Monsters and Men next. It's another confusing, garbage performance that nobody asked for but we got anyway. Ohhhh awkward, Of Monsters and Men are in the audience. Errr ... hey guys. Whoever is styling this show loves to put Cassadee in sparkly dresswa. For this performance, I'm guessing it was the Emerald City on wardrobe. Snip snip here, highlight there, and a couple of brand new bras, that's how we style The Voice away in the merry old land of Oz.
Up next, we have Season 2 not-winner from Team Cee Lo, Juliet Simms. She's here with her new single, "Wild Child." I can honestly say that I will not buy this single, or even be tempted to download it for free. Her voice is bordering on silly. I like her dumb boudoir cape, though. She tells Carson that the contestants, at this point, are wondering whether they are going to go home, or perhaps win. Thanks for the insight, Juliet. Carson seems a little too close to her, I'm noticing. He hugged her close, and keeps putting his arm around her. AH, SO GOOD TO SEE YA, JULIET.
The final four took the time to hang out with Carson on that outrageous little show he has, the one that is not TRL, and they had "an awesome time." Thank god we get to see this. It is so awesome. Terry is wearing a coat, making me wonder why they couldn't turn the heat on in Carson's studio a little bit. But Cassadee is wearing a short-sleeved dress so ... what up with that, Oz? Hey, Carson, this is actually not fun at all. I hope it was fun for you.
Carson warns the contestants that he'll be asking them a few questions randomly throughout the night, so don't freak out. I wish that these questions were not part of the show. They don't matter to anyone at all. The first finalist, Carson announces, is Terry McDermott. Terry went last and sang "Let it Be," so this is a nice, obvious first result.
Oh, let's check in with the scoreboard though. That's Blake: 1, Cee Lo: 0. Adam and Christina are completely off the scoreboard, but they are also at zero, and will stay that way.
