Nathalie is only 15, I wonder if this performance makes Aquile feel weird. Or maybe he feels good because he's totally got this like John Legend and can eye-f**k anything within a 15 foot radius. I'm not a huge fan of Nathalie's style, especially in contrast to Aquile's easy confidence. This performance is much better suited to Aquile, too, the lower parts seem a bit pitchy for Nathalie.

Cee Lo loved it, and thinks Nathalie is sweet and precious, and that Aquile gave a perfect performance. Adam thinks Aquile is ready now, and Nathalie will be soon. Blake gave props to Nathalie, who is the redshirt in Aquile's Star Trek. Aquile takes it, and Nathalie goes home with a hug from Christina. Tell us, Nathalie, is it real?

Then, in a move I guess we knew had to happen but I was still surprised by, some of the battles got montaged. I guess we know who is more important to watch in this competition, and it's not Celica Westbrook or former gymnast Lisa Scinta from Team Christina. Celica took it, if anyone cares (oh no, I don't think anyone was given the time to). Next, Charlie Rey sing-fought Rudy Parris. Who are these people? They were on Team Blake, but now only "dedicated grandfather Rudy Parris" is. Whatever, The Voice, Rudy's grandkids are going to be mad about that. He is really dedicated.

The next full battle we get to see is between two absolute darlings: Caitlin Michele versus Melanie Martinez on Team Adam. Caitlin will not be allowed to sing Florence and the Machine this time, and Melanie will probably continue to be adorable with her little bi-polar hairstyle. They're singing "Lights" by Ellie Goulding. Good choice, Adam.

Caitlin is so strong and forceful, and Melanie is so gentle and light, this will be an interesting one. Mary J. Blige was really impressed with Melanie, who whispered her way into everyone's hearts. In the rehearsal the day before battle, Melanie started to bother Adam with her lack of focus, and Caitlin also had an off day. Adam and his Cosby cardigan are not having it. They demand excellence, in vocals and knitwear.
