YOU GRADE IT
Triumph of the Underdogs

Adam chooses Bryan as the winner of this battle, and Collin starts telling Adam about how he used to go to Maroon 5 shows as a kid (oh my god, never say that to anyone). Blake interrupts this moment to push his save button with Cee Lo, and now Collin will drudge on in the competition, with barely enough time to iron and starch his shirts. Blake says Cee Lo would have chosen Bryan, and Cee Lo thinks Collin is much better than that performance. Either way, Collin has learned that choosing Adam was a mistake, unlike dropping out of grad school, which was totally the right thing to do. He wisely chose Blake.

Oh my god The Steal was so exciting ...

Cee Lo's first battle is up next: Diego Val versus JR Aquino. JR is a YouTube star, and Diego had a childhood illness. They were both kind of weak in their auditions, in my opinion. Cee Lo chose "Jesse's Girl" for these two to sing, and Diego doesn't know it because, "I'm Peruvian, bro."

JR thinks he has the advantage because he does covers all the time, and because he has so many hits on YouTube. Rob Thomas tells him he sold out the Staples Center but doesn't have that many hits on YouTube. Because you are not of the YouTube era, Rob. I think I like Diego better, because he's nervous and Peruvian and has cool glasses. Also, JR seems over-confident.

Check Diego out in his infinity scarf and vest, I love that. I hate the way JR did that fake handshake but then brush your hair thing. I'm rooting for you, Diego. Neither of them sound very good on this song, though. In my opinion, they are both expendable and neither of them Steal-worthy.

Blake says they were both good and "if I had to pick somebody I guess JR?" But really we would all pick no one. Cee Lo picks Diego, and JR looks around hopefully for the Steal. But the Steal does not happen. Some good hearts are winning out tonight.
