A delivery woman has a dolly with three boxes on it, and is struggling to get them up into Andre's store when Partlow and Snoop roll up. Partlow stoops to help her right one of her wheels, and the woman grins, "These stairs! Thank you, baby!" Partlow kindly tells her she's good to go, and enters the store just as she's putting Doritos on a rack. Partlow knocks on the glass at the counter; Andre comes out, standing near the front of the store, and is right next to Partlow when Partlow pulls out a handgun and shoots the delivery woman in the chest. Andre is reeling from this when Partlow turns around and pistol-whips him in the head. Andre's on his knees, bleeding profusely, as Partlow leans down and instructs him, "Say 'Omar.'" "Omar," Andre manages. Barely. Yeah, there's no bail for that. Andre should probably lose his security tapes before he calls the cops, though.
Lester is sitting on a curb when a city worker emerges from the sewer: corpse-free. "Other ideas?" asks Bunk blithely, dancing beside their car. Has Lester checked to see whether any local barbers have suddenly started sidelines involving meat pies?
Surveillance van. Herc and Sydnor are monitoring conversations from the equipment they've just installed -- except they only have a camera set up, no mic, and therefore would need someone who reads lips to translate. Sydnor asks whether intercepting this conversation is even legal, at which Herc orders him not to "go all Freamon" on him. Apparently satisfied with what he's seen, Herc takes off. Sydnor complains that he needs relief, but I guess his new stripes have made Herc selectively deaf.
His meeting concluded, Marlo rolls up to his truck and gets in the shotgun seat, telling Partlow, "You heard? They're making movies." Partlow asks how he wants to play it, and Marlo says he's not sure yet, telling Partlow they should "go see the fat man." Jay?
